Arthur Hubert Burton, 76, passed away December 7, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri. He was born February 7, 1936, in Hurley, Missouri, to Loren and Nora (Bragg) Burton.
A native Missourian, Art spent most of his life in Missouri outside of his Navy life. He joined the U.S. Navy after high school and retired after 20 years of honorable service. After retiring, Art settled in Warsaw, Missouri where he has lived ever since. He was not afraid to tackle any task and work to full and perfect completion. Art loved to cook, fish, garden and just about any other outdoor activity. He never met anyone he did not like and will be deeply missed.
Graveside services for Arthur Hubert Burton will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, Springfield, Missouri.
Celebration of Life services will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at Little Deb’s Cafe in Warsaw, Missouri.
