Katherine Fisher , 70 , of Springfield , left this life to meet our Lord, Savior and Creator on December 15, 2012 at Mercy Hospital . Katherine was born on May 15, 1942 in Battle Creek , Michigan , Katherine married Virgil Fisher in Miami Oklahoma . Katherine worked for twenty-nine years at Picadilly Cafeteria . She enjoyed bargain shopping, her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Fisher and her mother Opal Ingold She is survived by her companion, Stan Fisher; two daughters,Cindy Hodges and husband Larry of Independence, Missouri and , Patrice Semegran and husband Rich of Independence, Missouri; four grandchildren, Melanie, Amber, Melissa, and Matthew; great grandsons, Landon and Nolan; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
