George “Billy” Blong, age 71 of Branson, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012. He was born September 23, 1941 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Billy was the son of George and Bertha (Hardt) Blong. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marge Bellile.

Billy is survived by his loving wife Gail; two sons, Randy and Scott Blong; three daughters, Donna Funk, Teri Benick and Lonnie Budziak; two sisters, Audry Gilson and Joanne Tackett; a niece, Susanne Bellile; a nephew, Larry Bellile; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren as well as the loving staff of Billy Gail’s Restaurant.

A celebration of life will take place at Billy Gail’s Restaurant on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 11:00-2:00 P.M. Friends and family are invited.
