Lottie Ross, 90 , of Springfield , left this life to meet our Lord, Savior on January 9, 2013 . Lottie was born to Barney and Famie Deckard on September 4, 1922 in Springfield, Missouri. She married Joe Ross on March 20, 1940. Lottie worked for the Nixa Public Schools for 16 years as a head cook. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and fixing Sunday dinners for her family. Lottie’s greatest love was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joe Ross; her parents; an infant son, Joe Steven Ross; her daughter, Linda Sterling; her sisters, Dorothy, Bernice, Leona, and Lorene; and one brother, Clifford . She is survived by her children, Robert and Donna Ross, Joyce and Darl Gooch, Carol and JC Taylor, Joseph Ross, and Mary Fitzpatrick; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great- grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eugene and Don Deckard , 1 sister Carrie Cole; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on January 15, 2013, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North , with burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until service time.
