David
D. Choate , 65 , passed away on February 6, 2013 at Manor Care
Nursing Home . David was born on June 29, 1947 in Kansas City,
Kansas to Cleon and Ruby Choate. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time
with his family, and riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his
parents and one brother, Jyrel Choate. He is survived by his children, Scott
Choate, Halfway, Missouri, Ruby (Jodi) Joleta Choate of Strafford, Christy Owens
of Springfield, Shannon Owens of Kansas City, Missouri, Robin Owens of Nixa,
Missouri and Tracey Choate of Warrensburg, Missouri; seven grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Halk of the state of Arkansas ; and a
host of family and friends. A celebration of David's life will be held at 3:00
p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial in
Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m.
Saturday in the funeral home.
