Anna Marie grew up on a farm in the Slabtown area. She attended school at Plato graduating in 1959 from Plato High School.

Anna Marie worked in nursing homes for several years, treating every resident as her own family member. She cleaned Roby Baptist Church for years and had a beauty shop in Roby for several years, until her health no longer allowed it. Anna Marie loved her flowers and spent many hours in her flower beds. She enjoyed making quilts and her girls spent many hours cutting quilt pieces which she sewed together with love, giving most of them away to friends and family members.
Anna Marie accepted the Lord as her Savior as a child and was a member of Roby Baptist Church.
In June 1982, she married Dan Parks who preceded her in death.
Anna Marie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Ethmer and Gary Hildebrand, husband Dan Parks, a niece Kimberely (Lane) Samel and a great nephew, Billy Bryant.
She is survived by her daughters and their spouses; Gwendolyn and Rick Sweno of Lebanon, MO, Annette and Bill Monroe of Plato, MO and Lynette Weaks of Plato, MO, her grandchildren; Colby Moe, Landon and Sami Sweno, Bryon Sweno, Beau and Larenie McMahon, Bobby and Niki Hipp, Jedediah Smith and Dawson Weaks, her great-grandchildren; Emily, Kayne, Brantley, Chase, Briar and Cutter, several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and their spouses; Eula Wade, Lillian Vaughan, Virginia Hildebrand, Hazel Huff, Reba and Wilson Lane, Wilma and Shelly Zook, Jim and Phyllis Hildebrand and Joe Hildebrand. She was known to many as “MOM’ and was always a very caring person, putting others first. Anna loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids and loved visiting with each and every one of them. They all had a very special place in her heart.
She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
