Charles Maurice Cappon, age 73, son of Charles and Agnes (Murphy) Cappon, was born July 10, 1938 in Hastings, MI. He passed away on June 5, 2012 in the Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO.

     He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Nancy who died January 4, 2007.

     He is survived by an exceptionally close friend Linda Ustby of Solo, MO; one Sister-in-law, Robbie Danks of Racine, WI, other family members and friends made through the years.

     He married Nancy Danks and they made their home in Iberia before moving to Houston around 2004.

     Charley entered in the U.S. Marine Corp in 1958 and served in Vietnam in the Army until he was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant on December 8, 1975.   

     He was a gunsmith and had a Gun Shop at one time. He always loved his guns and going target shooting.

     Charley enjoyed a game of golf, watching the NASCAR races and going out to eat.

     He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
