Loy “Allen” Magness, age 77 of Branson, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born April 9, 1938, in Coin, Arkansas. Allen was the son of Dorothy (Moulder) and Hugh Magness. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Allen proudly served our country in the Army and was a business owner and machinist with Magness Manufacturing for forty years. He loved music and sports, especially watching his grandkids play. Allen also played golf and played guitar.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leon and Coy.

Allen is survived by his wife, Essie Magness of the home; daughter, Sondra and husband Todd Maxwell of Raymond, Illinois; sons, Greg and wife Janet Magness of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Eddie and wife Julie Magness of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Loyce and husband Gary Booher of Wichita, Kansas, Jackie Hauk of Wichita, Kansas, and Pat and husband Earl Bailey of Nacona, Texas.
