Ruby Dean Wyatt, 82, of Kissee Mills, passed from this life on Friday, June 14, 2013.


She was born on November 1, 1930 in Old Hilda, Missouri, the daughter of Preston Ira and Nola Weaver Roberts.  She was a lifelong resident of Taney County.  


Ruby married Donald Robert Wyatt on November 14, 1948 at Kissee Mills.  They have two sons and daughter-in-laws, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.


Ruby placed her faith and trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a lifelong member of Kissee Mills Bible Church.  She was instrumental in seeing her husband come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  She taught the young peopleSunday School class for many years.


Ruby loved the Lord and her family. She delighted in fixing Sunday dinners for the extended family and having them in her home.  Her specialty was cream meringue pies.  Ruby’s life goals were to be a good wife, a good mother, and a good Christian.


Survivors include her son Steve and Sandy Wyatt of Kissee Mills, son Brad and Pam Wyatt of Longview, Texas, granddaughter Chrysti Becker and Jeremy of Lindenhurst, Illinois, grandson Scott Wyatt and Lisa of Kissee Mills, grandson Justin Wyatt and granddaughter Emily Wyatt, both of Pearland, Texas, six great-grandchildren Ivy, Gabe, Zach, Stevie Mae, Ally, and Danielle, four great-great-grandchildren Jayla, Amya, Ari, and Journey and forty-three nieces and nephews whose pictures adorn the refrigerator and cabinets in her home.  She is also survived by a brother Euell (Perk) Roberts and wife Regina of Springfield, a brother-in-law Gordon Goetz of Rueter, a brother-in-law Dale Wyatt of Ozark,  and a sister-in-law Mary Lou Braden and William of Hood River, Oregon.


She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers – Elmo, Hansel, Eddie, and Floyd (Sam), four sisters – Opal, Nomal (Jo), Dora (Bill), and Maxine, a brother-in-law Dewie Wyatt, and a sister-in-law Martha Goetz Ward. 


In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Kissee Mills Cemetery Fund.
