Age: 83

Bonnie Mae Johnson, 83, departed this earthly body on March 15, 2016. She was born September 9, 1932 in Lebanon, Missouri to Lawrence and Zelma (Brown) Vielbig.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and a host of other kin folk.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Peggy Tuck; grandsons, Kelly Tuck and Nathan Tuck and their spouses; 3 great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Jonathon and Chase Ray; sister, Shirley Graves, and her nieces and nephew, Debra Williams, Paula Bowen, Tammy Hobbs and Terry Jones and their families as well as many others who knew Bonnie and cared for her.

When Bonnie was little, she was a rascal and used to love climbing trees, always climbing and her momma telling her to get out of those trees! Now Bonnie is climbing the Tree of Life and sitting with Jesus. Bonnie was saved and baptized when she was 77 years old and had told her daughter upon many occasions that she would be climbing that Tree of Life right to the top. Bonnie also knew she was blind and now she sees, She couldn’t walk but now runs free and is in her Saviors Presence with all of the loved ones gone on before her, Bonnie will be missed by all who truly knew her and loved her despite all else in life that can creep up and get us. Bonnie would tell you to live for Jesus and if you have not gave your heart to Christ to please do so and come live for eternity with her, family and everyone else who lives for Christ.

John 14: 1-3 says: Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there yea may be also.

Our Blessed Assurance

Till we meet again someday….
