Age: 36

Brandon Allen Moutray, age 36, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, passed away suddenly on February 10, 2021. He entered this life on January 11, 1985, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the son of Allen and Tammy (Couffer) Moutray. Brandon was joined in marriage to October 7, 2006, to Jennifer Mason.

A passion for the great outdoors, Brandon enjoyed his time hunting, fishing, exploring national parks, and beaches. A man of so many talents, he was truly a skilled man of all trades. Brandon always had a wealth of knowledge and was known as “The Encyclopedia”. His favorite channel was the History Channel where he could watch war stories. Brandon was always a call away to assist anyone. He would give away anything he could to help friends and family in need. Even if it left him shorthanded himself. He was an amazing carpenter who built his families forever gorgeous home at only 22 years old that he shared with his high school sweetheart, who referred to him as “her Bearded Charmer”. They shared 20 years together as Best Friends through a hardship of life challenges. Brandon was an avid Steelers fan and loved Hawaii. He became a strong, reliant, and fierce protector to three foster children, that then became his forever children through adoption. Passionate about family and helping others, he especially adored his children, nieces, and nephews. Brandon was always giving to those in need. He will be forever remembered and greatly missed.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents: Raymond and Beulah Moutray, and Leonard and Irene Couffer.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Moutray; three young children; parents: Allen and Tammy Moutray of Branson, Missouri; brother, Garret Moutray of Hollister, Missouri; two sisters: Katie Moutray of Merriam Woods, Missouri, and Lauren Moutray of Springfield, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday February 17, 2021, at Cremations of the Ozarks, 115 Industrial Park Drive, Hollister, Missouri 65672. Services and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To leave an online condolence, please visit
