Formerly of: Frankfort, IN Paul Amos Glendenning, Age 72 of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away February 13, 2021. He was born April 5, 1948, in Frankfort, Indiana, to Paul Amos Sr. and Margaret Glendenning. He was joined in marriage to Roberta Putt (Bobbie) August 16, 1969, in Rushville, Illinois.

The son of a pastor, Paul spent nearly his entire life in the ministry. He was minister of music for two years. Following that time, he taught school two years at a Christian high school in Fort Scott, Kansas. Paul and Bobbie together were commissioned song evangelists for the Church of the Nazarene eight years, traveling in nearly every state in the union as well as Canada. He was a singer, radio producer, and business manager, one year for radio ministry, Faith Mountain Ministries out of Marshall, Minnesota.  Then he became assistant pastor two years in Brookings, South Dakota, pastored five years in Platte, South Dakota, twelve years in Doland, South Dakota, and eighteen plus years in Platteville, Wisconsin. He retired to Blue Eye in June of 2020. His love for music and the ministry was evident by all who knew him. His hobby for years was repairing and selling vehicles, RVs, and boats.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David. He was a real family man, loved dearly and called “Grandpa George” by five grandsons: Ian, Max, Ben, Sam and Jackson Glendenning and one step-granddaughter, Kyara Schmidt. Besides the grandchildren, he is survived by two sisters: Marian Ray (Jim) of Hartford, Kentucky, and Sarah Bowers (Steve) of Leitchfield, Kentucky; a niece, Laurel Robbins; three nephews: Casey and Dylan Ray; Caleb Bowers, his parents of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, his loving wife, Bobbie of Blue Eye, Missouri; three sons: Jonathan of Andover, Minnesota; Aaron of Waupaca, Wisconsin, and Larry of Oak Creek, Wisconsin; and one daughter, Rose of Branson, Missouri. His ministry has touched lives all over the country and he will be greatly missed by many friends, former parishioners, and of course the love of his life, Bobbie, children, and extended family. He passed right into the arms of Jesus at home, February 13, 2021, lovingly surrounded by his wife and eldest son. The other children soon joined him.
